More than 1B+ prompts have been sent to Lovable, and each one has helped us learn which model performs best for each task.

For every prompt in Lovable, our system decides the right models, tools, instructions, and context - when to retry, when to replan, and when to route work to our own trained models.

A model company can improve its model, but we improve the whole system, combining all the frontier models.

In the end, we don’t want you to think about models.
We just want you to go build cool stuff.

Two weeks later, he’d redesigned the product, the site, and the brand. He’s been shaping how Lovable looks and feels and, to me even more importantly - how we work internally. His thoughtfulness on organization and ways of working has inspired a lot of how Lovable is being built.

At @Lovable we think a lot about clock speed: our internal pace of thinking, deciding, executing. Some people's clocks tick faster than others. @antonosika and @FabianHedin run fast, and they want everyone around them running fast too.

Working here made me realise I'd been suppressing my own clock speed for years. Ironic - early in my career I'd called balancing craft and speed one of my designer superpowers. I was always a little jealous of the pure craft designers.

I joined as the first designer and fourth employee. Day one, complete ownership: designing and redesigning the product, making foundational calls, building our now-signature brand - starting as a team of one.

But speed only works with obsessive care underneath it. That's what turns speed into learning, and learning into ambition.

I grew up building websites for local musicians and Counter-Strike leagues. Fitting that Lovable is the product I wish I'd had as a kid, hacking around online.

You don't figure that out behind a desk. You talk to potential users to understand which problems you have to solve and where the product needs to go next.

A couple of days ago I was out on a sauna boat, and spent most of it asking the boat owner what his biggest problems were and how Lovable could help.

How I talk to customers has evolved, but it's still one of my favorite parts of the job.

Lovable just raised $400M at a $13.3B valuation to build the business that helps build businesses.

Apps built on Lovable now get 900M visits every month, and we’ve quadrupled ARR in the last 12 months.

Since we started, Lovable has become the place where founders create million dollar businesses, business leaders spin up new product lines, and people inside companies rewire workflows and build tools that fit their exact needs, typically at a fraction of what software used to cost.

There’s a lot more to do.

We will create the most intuitive platform to build and run a business.

That means:

My friend @Kristian_Ronn is working on one of the most important societal problems that almost no one is paying attention to.

The AI race has a trust problem: no one can verify what anyone else is doing. The Cold War eventually solved its version of this with "trust, but verify." We do not have an equivalent for AI yet.

Kristian and team are building cryptographic verification to confirm superintelligence is not misused, and both open source and the labs are following the rules without exposing secrets or private data. It's super interesting work.

Over the past week I’ve been speaking to researchers, entrepreneurs, and thinkers in Europe. It’s clear that there are many who want to build the future here, and contribute to strengthening the region’s resilience. We are one of them.

Since we started, I was repeatedly told that if you want to build a serious AI company, move to San Francisco. We chose Europe, and have never looked back.

Today millions of people turn their ideas to products and businesses on our platform. A large chunk of them are European. Some of the best engineers I know are moving home to do their best work here in Europe. The talent was never the problem. The belief that you could build from here was.

At Lovable, we’re laser focused on building the best platform for anyone to create software and run their business, securely. A part of this platform is intelligence. We run on a variety of models, always using the most capable for the task, to provide the best user experience, and build resilience.

Sovereignty isn't isolationism, it’s building resilience. Europe needs to do the same.

More designers building software means better designed software and that’s a good thing for the whole ecosystem.

For most of software history, even if you understood a problem better than anyone, you still needed someone else to help you build the solution.

That meant a lot of good ideas never became products.

Today we’re sharing our first look at the global build economy: more than 50M projects built on Lovable and 720M monthly visits to Lovable-built projects. Ideas are becoming products, and products are turning into companies.

The people building them are also different from what many would expect.
They may not have a CS degree, venture capital, or a technical co-founder, but they have customer knowledge, industry context, and a clear sense of what needs to exist.

It is still early, but the direction is clear: as this category matures, the impact will be greater than just more software. There will be more solutions, more companies, and more economic activity.

I wouldn't be surprised if a new wave of world-defining companies come out of Europe this year. Europe has the talent. That talent has started building.

I don’t think most people actually want to choose between AI models.

Every week there’s new consensus on what’s best, but most people just want great results, and they don’t care which model powers that.

At Lovable, we spend a lot of time evaluating models internally so our users don’t have to. The goal is simple: automatically use the best model for the task so people can stay focused on building their business.

Don't underestimate how important it is to remove mental load for your customers at every step of the way.

There's a new kind of coding I call "vibe coding", where you fully give in to the vibes, embrace exponentials, and forget that the code even exists. It's possible because the LLMs (e.g. Cursor Composer w Sonnet) are getting too good. Also I just talk to Composer with SuperWhisper so I barely even touch the keyboard. I ask for the dumbest things like "decrease the padding on the sidebar by half" because I'm too lazy to find it. I "Accept All" always, I don't read the diffs anymore. When I get error messages I just copy paste them in with no comment, usually that fixes it. The code grows beyond my usual comprehension, I'd have to really read through it for a while. Sometimes the LLMs can't fix a bug so I just work around it or ask for random changes until it goes away. It's not too bad for throwaway weekend projects, but still quite amusing. I'm building a project or webapp, but it's not really coding - I just see stuff, say stuff, run stuff, and copy paste stuff, and it mostly works.
