this card allows grok bot to store credentials securely in a vault! when the credential is needed, it goes through a special access path where its never exposed to the model in plain text

later when you say "file a bug that login is broken", the bot turns that into a linear call with just the title (no token). the host knows that tool call is linear's, looks up this agent's linear api key, and builds the real http request. linear creates it, and the bot gets back "sent it, we're good". the host where the final tool call is constructed is also the only place the credential shows up

1) use an event trigger when you can. slack, github, a reaction. the bot only runs when something actually happened (a cron wakes it even if nothing changed)

2) instruct the bot to notify you as soon as it can’t make further progress or is stalled. this way you as human can help putting it on the right course again

3) connectors > browser when possible! clicking around a site is a pile of screenshots and steps. a connector gives you the same data in one call, and it's so much nicer/faster/smoother

4) keep skills tight, but put in the details that actually steer the run. too vague and the bot might wander, retry, and costs more than a slightly longer one. too specific and you have to make sure its really correct

5) don't do the coding in the bot chat! kick a cloud agent at the repo, or ask it to use cursor/grok build cli to do it

6) delete one-shot watches when they're not needed anymore (grok bot will remind you about this)

Got Grok bot for free, started using it yesterday, worked pretty much the entire day… and I’ve only consumed 27% so far ⚡

One thing I’m learning:

Stop relying on one agent for everything 🤖

Create agents for different purposes.

Have one main agent as your personal assistant 🧠
Store important context, instructions, workflows, etc. inside .md files

Then whenever you need another specialized agent, just create one using those .md files as its context

Your agents become disposable

Your context becomes permanent

i've been building some smaller apps over the last weeks for myself, friends and family and discovered a pretty nice pattern in the process

you see, after building, i'm not particularly interested in fixing bugs or triaging feature requests. i just want to get the job done

so i've set up a system that lets me and other users fix bugs and build features without me having to actually open cursor

the flow:
1. someone files feedback in the app
2. it lands in posthog with the submitted text, session replay, events, and errors
3. a cursor cloud agent picks it up with that context, plus live read-only posthog mcp
4. it loops until the fix is verified, then opens a github pr with tests
5. i get a ping and review it on my phone

we give our cloud agents access to all the necessary user context, and they'll figure it out

with this in place, we can start setting up more abstractions in between. if we're getting a high volume, we might want to triage first with another cloud agent or some automation. the feedback can create a github or linear issue, which we later pick up with a cron-backed cloud agent that decides which are duplicates. there are so many ways to configure this, you just gotta try it out and see what works for you

but there's so much more here that is untapped. with session replays and event logs, you can have a cloud agent look at each session replay to extract ux pitfalls and improvement areas. you can have another agent looking at event logs to see weird patterns. another one for errors or similar
